Otto Modersohn (1865-1943), important painter of the Worpswede artists‘ colony, Autumn Weather in the Moor, c. 1925-29, a previously unknown variant of his famous painting Autumn Weather (1899), which Otto Modersohn probably painted between 1925 and 1929, Oil on cardboard with inclusion of the painting ground, signed lower right O Modersohn, verso discarded study “An der Surheide“ around 1923 and there inscribed upper left 2) Herbstwetter im Moor, 50 x 69 cm, minimal paint loss, framed 58 x 77 cm.
