135th Auction

18. May, 2017

Thu, 18th of May from 10:00 am

More than 2,000 national and international bidders contributed to another successful auction at Historia Auction House during its 135th event, where over 3,200 items were offered. The high demand led to some intense bidding wars. Special attention was given to a small collection of early Chinese porcelains. A deep bowl from the Song Dynasty (Lot 4858, starting price €500) was sold to a floor bidder for €20,000 after fierce competition. A small bowl with celadon glaze increased from €100 to €15,000 via telephone bidding (Lot 4862). From China, there were also two large ivory figures that were sold for €7,650 and €6,125 respectively (Lots 4852 and 4800).
