The auction of the private archive of Winnetou actor Pierre Brice

After inventory by our auctioneer Michael Lehrberger, the personal estate and private archive of the actor and Winnetou portrayer Pierre Brice (1929-2015) were auctioned off in spectacular multi-day auctions in 2015 and 2019: Among the numerous bidders who traveled to the event, several hundred participated live from their homes and by phone. Whether it was a Cartier pen with Pierre Brice’s engraved initials, his Hermès bathrobe, toys from his childhood, film awards, or props like the famous silver rifle – collectors vied for these items, resulting in record-breaking bids.
