Gabriele Stock-Schmilinsky (1903-1984), Hamburg artist who studied under Friedrich Ahlers-Hestermann, among others, and became director of the art school there in 1939. She undertook study trips to Paris and Italy with Eduard Bargheer in the 1930s.
