Ivo Hauptmann (1886-1973), Berlin painter and son of Gerhart Hauptman, was one of the co-founders of the ”Freie Secession” in Berlin in 1914 and one of the founders of the ”Hamburg Secession” in 1919. Alpine landscape with mountain lake, watercolor over pastel chalk on Van Gelder laid paper, signed and dated 1968 lower right, verso with estate stamps in violet, sheet dimensions 33 x 50 cm, framed behind glass and passepartout 45 x 65 cm
