Adolf Schill (1848-1911), German painter, architect and interior designer, under Förster involved in the construction of the Vienna Ringtheater, 2-year study trip through Italy, from 1880 professor of ornamentation and architecture at the Düsseldorf Academy of Art, sketchbook of his trip to Italy with more than 200 drawings (irregularly trimmed and mounted) after antique buildings, architectural elements, decoration, c. 1875 and later, folio, partly with gouache, partly dated and inscribed, green cover rubbed, spine inscribed Reiseskizzen Antike II, 36 x 28.5 cm, with various zinc etchings for book illustrations after the design by Adolf Schill, mounted on 7 cardboards, inscribed and signed in pen, rubbed and damaged, 32 x 48 cm
