Small chest in the style of a medieval minstrel’s chest, reinterpreted in Art Nouveau style, c. 1900. Wooden body covered with leather and sheet metal. Chased sheet brass with geometric decoration and large birds. Two colored enameled fleur de lis on the top and sides. Surrounded by a band of colored enamel with a medieval coat of arms and shapes. A decorative band embossed in sheet copper around the bottom. Upholstered inside with silk fabric. bumped, 35 x 22 x 20 cm.
