Figural inkwell, France, late 19th century Passig curved stone plinth on 4 feet. Front with recess for writing utensils. Bronze bust with plaque inscribed ”Pasteur par A. Gaudez Hors Concours”, also signed A. Gaudez in the cast on the side. Bust flanked by two inkwells with relief decoration and hinged lid, rubbed and minimally bumped, 32 x 35 x 22 cm
