Fritz Uphoff. 1890 Witten – 1966 Worpswede. 7 rare etchings on laid paper from ”Prometheus und Ganymed” with first drafts for the color ornamental and text design (4 sheets for ”Prometheus”, first draft for the first title page and an original draft for the second title page) as well as color design of an illustration for ”Ganymed” (inscribed Ganymed I lower left), around 1924, hand-colored and partly traced in pen and ink, each with a pen and ink drawing. Each signed Fritz Uphoff lower right and inscribed by hand lower left, stained, sheets 32 x 24.5 to 36 x 28 cm, unframed. From the artist’s estate.
