An opulent amethyst necklace, circa 1870, with a centerpiece of a former brooch GG 750/000 unmarked, tested, and chain links GG 585/000 unmarked, tested, set with 13 oval faceted amethysts, total ct. 136.69 ct in luminous fine violet tones, of very good transparency, box clasp (with SI chain, not valued), l. 34 + 6 cm extension also with box clasp, 2 gold applications on the chain links missing, 77.62 g, with appraisal 2024 for 16,450 euros
