Carl Langhorst (1867-1950), Portrait of a noblewoman (probably Grand Duchess Elisabeth von Oldenburg, née Duchess of Mecklenburg-Schwerin), oil on canvas, signed, undated, c. 1910, Langhorst was a pupil of Carl Marr and Gabriel von Hackl in Munich and a well-known portraitist. He worked a lot for the courts of Mecklenburg, Oldenburg, Saxony-Altenburg and Anhalt-Dessau, minimal tear, approx. 80 x 60 cm, framed (heavily bumped) 100 x 79 cm
