Eusebius, Meissen, year mark for 1987, 1st choice, model by Paul Scheurich (New York 1883 – Brandenburg 1945) in 1913, model no. 73303 (old no. D 284), from the series ”Russian Dancers” from the ballet ”Carnaval”, Inspired by the guest performance of the celebrated Russian ballet ‘Le Carnaval’ based on Robert Schumann’s piano cycle at Berlin’s Theater des Westens, Paul Scheurich created the figurine group ‘Russian Ballet’ in 1913.
