Dear Customers,

Perhaps your long-awaited vacation is just around the corner. As entertaining holiday reading, we would like to recommend this freshly published catalog for the 170th auction of HISTORIA Auctionata.

An intriguing variety of over 6,500 lots from all the classic auction categories—graphics and paintings, silver, porcelain from the most renowned manufacturers, glass and crystal objects, collectibles, antique furniture, and an astounding high-caliber jewelry collection—will ignite your sense of discovery and, thrilling until the last page, will take you on a small world tour, highlighting the art and craftsmanship of many different countries and cultures.

The large coin collection is likely to hold surprises and remarkable bids, including a unique gold medal from Bulgaria, possibly an unknown one-of-a-kind piece. It was minted on the occasion of the construction of the railway line between Yambol and Burgas on May 14, 1890.

As the 170th auction marks a small anniversary for HISTORIA, we are celebrating this together with our partner house, Bolland and Marotz from Bremen. Therefore, we are dedicating the Saturday morning of August 31st to their unique collection of Worpswede artists and art from the far North, and we will be auctioning off the items that you can find in the catalog of Bolland & Marotz’s 166th auction listed under our auctions.

Enjoy the summer, happy reading, and best of luck with your bidding! Your team from the HISTORIA Auction House
