A large serving platter, Sevres, 18th century, painter’s mark for Buteux Jeune, active 1759-1766, known for bouquets, probably presentoire for a lidded tureen, “Duplessis” form, side handles in the form of shells and rocailles in relief, with polychrome and gold decoration, called “cabbage leaves”, with fine bouquets of flowers and fruit, slight signs of use, gold rubbed, l. 48 cm
