A gentleman’s silver verge pocket watch, in silver outer case, white enamel dial with chips at 7 and 6 o’clock, black Arabic numerals and minute track, gilt hands, minute hand probably replaced, verge movement marked ” Ja. Scott Harwick”, circa 1760, movement richly engraved with floral motifs and a gentleman’s head on the verge cock, movement starts, diameter in outer case 54mm, height above domed glass 21mm, total weight with silver braid chain approx. 155.5g
