A portal clock, walnut, 2nd half 19th century, with floral maple inlays in the base and top, tapering columns with gilded and guilloché bases and capitals, vertical inlays in the columns, silver-framed dial with black inlaid Roman numerals. Dial with black Roman numerals, blackened hands, gilded bezel with pearlized finish, gilded gridiron pendulum, French round movement with 1/2 hour disc strike.
