Ruth Schloss (1922-2013), two works on paper by the Israeli painter and illustrator of German origin. In her paintings, she addresses the traumas of war, the death of Israelis and Arabs, the suffering of people through the loss of loved ones and their livelihoods, the Holocaust and, in her later work, ageing people in nursing homes and hospitals.
