Milk jug, Meissen, mark 1850-1924, Deputat, from the ‘Blaue Rispe’ service, design by Richard Riemerschmid (1868 – 1957), German art professor, architect and Art Nouveau artist, created this service on behalf of the Meissen manufactory around 1903-05, this service and his so-called ”Maschinenmöbel” produced for the Dresden workshops were presented at the ”Third German Arts and Crafts Exhibition” in Dresden in 1906.
