Flottbek, 46 x 66 cm, framed 54.5 x 73.5 cm.- The landscape and portrait painter Kuchel, son of the painter Theodor Kuchel (1819-1885) and cousin of Friedrich Kallmorgen (1856-1924), studied at the Düsseldorf and Munich academies. Since 1912 he had his studio in the district Klein Flottbeck, which belongs to Hamburg-Othmarschen.
