In 2012, P.R.K. had an intensive scholarship stay at the traditional Karlsruhe Majolica Manufactory. Here he worked for the first time with glaze colours, the application and processing of which is quite contrary to colour design on canvas. In the selected works, however, it is clearly noticeable how strikingly the artist succeeded in expressing one of his essential design features, a luminously expressive colourfulness, in this completely different medium as well.
The wine cooler has a diameter of 12 cm and a height of 24 cm and was designed in 2012. It is listed in the catalogue raisonné under the number WVZ 7058.
