P.R.K. produced the small edition of hand-printed linocuts in the autumn of 2021 in the printing workshop of the traditional Xylon Museum in Schwetzingen. It is impressive to see how the artist uses a technique that is new to him and that he has tried for the first time to interpret a theme that is once again quite characteristic of his work, the human couple that seems to be intensely turned towards each other in the sweeping lines typical of Keil. This unique variation of a linoleum print shows the artist’s typical delight in experimentation, with rapid contour lines he works directly into the still fresh ink, creating an absolutely unique work full of playful delight and mystery.

Linoleum print, reworked, unique, 63 x 45 cm. Shown in the catalogue raisonné under the number WVZ 7052. Prior to the auction, the work was freshly framed at the specialist dealer Boesner by one of the few expert and fully trained picture-framers. In a multi-stage matching process, special emphasis was placed on the coherence between the work and the frame. The work has been framed dust-proof behind glass.

As a special highlight we offer Peter Robert Keil to write a personal dedication on the back of the work to the new owner. In this regard, we ask you to send us an e-mail to the Keil Collection Heidelberg with your dedication wishes by 2 October 2022 after acquisition.
