Decorative plaque ”Four Continents” WMF in case, 2nd half 19th century, gilt bronze. Central cartouche peacock with fruits and flowers, in the corners four female allegories of the four continents. Inscribed ”Adolphe Dubois” and ”Württ. Metallwaren-Fabrik Abteilung Für Galvanoplastik Geislingen-Steige” at the bottom. Hanging device on the reverse. Very fine, detailed workmanship, only very slightly rubbed, in original case, this 16.5 x 13.5 x 2.5 cm
