An English longcase clock, circa 1800, indistinctly inscribed on the dial, mahogany veneer with maple thread inlays, gabled roof, carved scrollwork below, with fluted columns to the sides, beige metal dial with polychrome floral painting, blued hands, second hand below 12 o’clock, movement with solid hook gear and hour strike on overhead bell, movement starts, 235 x 54 x 28cm
