On August 26th, 2023 from 10 a.m. we will auction the complete collection of the DDR Museum Döberitz. Rare IFA vehicles, Wartburgs and Trabbis, but also Barkas, including unique special models from the special exhibition on the Red Cross in the GDR, as well as objects on the vehicle history of the GDR are up for auction from the approximately 400 square meter museum.
In addition to a huge toy collection with hundreds of model cars, many model railways, including around 400 locomotives and countless wagons, you can also expect a wide range of accessories, technology of all kinds, the complete PEBELAND, posters and many other historically interesting exhibits, but also objects of everyday use , which impressively and realistically depict the history and life in the GDR.
It is regrettable that this unique collection cannot be shown to the public in its entirety, but on the other hand all those who are interested, nostalgic and lovers and children of the German Democratic Republic have the unique and probably last opportunity to look at souvenirs and memorabilia from the former supplying the GDR and thus keeping personal memories alive. Secure a piece of German history or your long-cherished childhood dream.
