Weimar vase, KPM Berlin, pre-1945 mark, 1st choice, red imperial orb mark, WW1 mark, the urn body rising from a round foot with handles to the sides, acanthus leaves to the base, polychrome painted, bouquet of flowers to the front, dedication to the reverse, acanthus bud-shaped finial to the lid, ornaments painted in pink and light green, gold rims, 1 handle chipped, h. 46 cm, the vase shape was given this name because it was designed for the Duchess of Weimar in 1785
